After Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis, Colbert expressed regret for his previous remarks, acknowledging they upset people. This apology coincided with Blake Lively’s apology for joking about Kate’s photoshopped Mother’s Day photo. Additionally, co-hosts of The View also expressed regret for engaging in speculation about Kate Middleton’s situation.
