Four Louisiana police officers decided to grab dinner at Outback Steakhouse during their shift. Unbeknownst to them, the restaurant staff had a special surprise in store. Manager Arline Wood and server Zoe, who have a great relationship with the officers, decided to pick up their $67 tab as a gesture of appreciation for their service.
The officers were deeply touched by the unexpected act of kindness and left Zoe a generous tip in return. They shared a photo of the receipt on the Slidell PD Facebook page, which garnered positive feedback from the community.
Manager Arline, while surprised by the attention, expressed her gratitude for the officers’ service and emphasized the importance of showing appreciation for law enforcement.
Arline and Zoe hope their gesture inspires others to thank police officers for their dedication and sacrifice, especially in challenging times.
