I’ve been married for two and a half years in an arranged marriage, which is common in my family. After a brief two-month courtship, we married and soon discovered we were expecting. My husband, who took a three-year leave to care for me, has been incredibly supportive throughout our journey.
Now, with our 7-month-old daughter, we received an invitation to a family party. While there, I overheard my husband telling his parents that every morning he wakes up overwhelmed with joy seeing me and our baby, thanking them for bringing us together. This moment made me realize how truly blessed I am with him.
I wanted to surprise him by showing my gratitude, so I prepared his favorite meal and decorated our house with “I love you” balloons. I plan to express my love more often, inspired by this beautiful moment.
