Kid brothers start their own business mowing dozens of lawns in their community

While many kids spend their summers lounging and playing, the McBride brothers from Saginaw, Michigan, have been hard at work, establishing their own successful business.

Marcus, Travell, and Marcelino, aged 12, 10, and 9 respectively, are the brains and brawn behind 3 Amigos Lawncare Service.
It all started when eldest brother Marcus expressed his desire to start a lawn care business a few months back. With the support of their mom, Terri Reed, they wasted no time in getting started. Terri purchased all the necessary equipment and work attire, and soon the trio was off and running.

Despite their young age, the brothers have shown remarkable dedication and have garnered a long list of satisfied customers. Proud of her sons’ hard work, Terri remarked on their work ethic and determination. As the summer season transitions into fall, the boys plan to expand their services to include leaf clearing and snow removal, aiming to offer all-season assistance.

With no prior lawn care experience, Marcus led the charge based solely on his vision and strong work ethic. Throughout the summer, the brothers have been busy with various tasks, from mowing and weed whacking to trimming and cleanup. Terri, who owns rental properties in the area, has been impressed by their dedication and success.

With approximately 40 regular customers and a growing business, the brothers have even earned enough money to invest in property. Their earnings are managed responsibly, with weekly paydays and the rest going into their business accounts. The McBride brothers are not only proving themselves as capable entrepreneurs but also learning valuable lessons in responsibility and financial management at a young age.
